Halloween 2023 - Day 07

Jeeves: This lease addendum will need to be signed in triplicate and returned within the fortnight.

Cael: What addendum? We were locked in for the normal term.

Jeeves: The guidelines were clear cut, black and white, and other such politically charged terms.

Jeeves: It's on account of the additional tenants. Leniency on account of the potato famine have long since lapsed.

Cael: But we had nothing to do with them. We never really get much say in anything around here.

Jeeves: Oh, there's an extra fee for the confetti too

*Whump*

CyberRaven: Meeting! Meeting!

CyberRaven: Calling all to a meeting!

CyberRaven: Our food supply is reaching dangerous levels. And as much as I hate to admit that composting the rats would ultimately starve us, we need to find a new source of nutrition. Before me are some sugar pellets to get us through the scurvy phase, but they will not do in the long term.

CyberRaven: So as much as it pains me for us to stop being tax cattle, we're going to have to homestead.

CyberRaven: I'll kick it off with some pumpkins. We'll eat the flesh and bury the seeds with what the former becomes.

You sure these are decorative?

CyberRaven: Quite sure.

CyberRaven: They're the usual rootbeer and gilded colors.

CyberRaven: Now let's eat up and deposit our weath before sundown.
