Hey, it’s a new section. Good times. I figured this would let me add updates more easily without the hassle of creating a new page each time. I still have to add a text file, main image, and thumbnail, so I suppose it doesn’t save me all that much time, but I suppose it’s still less overhead. Who knows? At the very least, it will justify not spending as much time as I would for a full article, and I can report on the meaningless findings that I stumble upon every so often.

So what are we doing first? Well I had a few ideas upon first brainstorming this section—and I’ll get to them in time—but we’ll stick with what I have on deck for timeliness purposes. As you may have seen, I’ve been collecting various limited edition sodas as I find them. A chance visit to Dollar General last night for a completely unrelated purpose netted me something special. I do try to stop by once in a while since it is often the last place where I can find special editions, but I wasn’t even away that there was something new out there. Spark had come back, but there’s nothing really notable about that.

Flamin’ Hot is what I did find. I believe this was available as an online promo, but I’m not playing those games. Unless I can pick it up with little fuss, I’m okay with letting things go. I also heard that the original was a bit spicier, while this one reduces the bite a bit and adds the lime flavor. I have to say, whatever choices they made, the current flavor is actually pretty nice. Another recent release was with a can on Monster, called Aussie Lemonade. So despite being lime vs lemon, the final result is pretty much on par. I really couldn’t tell the difference between the two, so if you can only find one, either will do. The Monster might be a 0 Calorie too, so that could help you save the horrendous 280 Cal in this bottle.
