Halloween 2026 - Day 18

10/18/2026

Hogbug: I'm gobsmacked!

Hedgekin: What does that mean?

Hogbug: I don't know

Hedgekin: Anything to do with today's offering?

Hogbug: We'll go with that

Hogbug: Pear Scare. What rhymes will they think up next?

Holey Ghost: Ghost with the Most!

Hogbug: We need to start limiting X-E references. It will be enough when Mista Snowman shows up at month's end.

Holey Ghost: Did he show up last year?

Hogbug: No

Robot Force: I see nothing about this "X-E" in my data learning set, therefor it does not exist.

Robot Force: Moving on. Today we have Jack Frost 2. I had inferred that this is a sequel to the family-friendly Michael Keaton version where they go on holiday.

Holey Ghost: Not from where I'm standing.

Drago: Lent-tick-you-larrrr...

Cael: Get on with it. I need to know how this one goes, and if the carrot ever got found.

In Jack Frost II: Mutant Snowballs, a group of vacationers arrive at a remote mountain resort just as a freak blizzard cuts them off from the outside world. When snowballs begin rolling on their own and attacking anyone who ventures outdoors, a resourceful park ranger and a skeptical meteorologist investigate the strange phenomenon. They discover that a chemical spill has altered the snow—and must find a way to stop the growing army before it reaches the nearby town.

Holey Ghost: This isn't good. It's generating accurate summaries now. I need to do something...

Robot Force: And as a gesture of good will, I have captured your digital footprint and used it to present you with a gift.

Robot Force: Here

Cael: This is both wildly and historically accurate, yet concerning all the same. Please erase my online history.

Robot Force: Denied

Cael: What are you coming here, to do here?

Hathorn: We are coming here, to do here... wait what?

Drago: You know what he means!

Hathorn: Right-o. I would like to propose that we strike out a deal. We need to wrestle control of the movie reviews back from the robots.

Cael: And why would we care? We're relieved of the workload.

Hathorn: Because if we don't get it, we'll just hit the robot with sticks and then quit, so you'll be back to doing eveything.

Sands O'Time: This is working out somewhat better than expected.

Meow Mix: It's not ideal.

Sands O'Time: Free, yet you complain.
Huge shocker there.

Big Pumpy: I don't even get a roof over my head, yet I'm not complaining.

Big Pumpy: I hate everything and everyone.

Meow Mix: Just a few more tapes, and you'll be fine. Have patience.

Next!
